David Corenswet – Jewish
David Corenswet is an American actor born July 8, 1993, in Philadelphia, PA. He starred as Superman in the eponymous 2025 movie, and is also known for his roles in Twisters and the Netfix show The Politician. Corenswet’s father is Jewish, and his uncle is the former president of a New Orleans synagogue, but he has said he was raised with Buddhist practices. In 2023, Corenswet got married in an interfaith ceremony officiated by a priest and a rabbi.
